        The Attestation Parade (Passing Out Parade) of 91 Recruit constables of Border Security Force, Batch No. 223 of Subsidiary Training Centre (STC) Baikunthpur was held on 21st April 2023 at Parade Ground of STC Baikunthpur. Shri Raman Kumar Srivastava, Comdt (Trg), STC BSF Baikunthpur was the Chief Guest of the occasion. Chief guest was welcomed by Sh Ashutosh Chouhan, 2IC (Trg) of STC BSF Baikunthpur. Chief guest inspected the grand attestation parade of BSF Praharis and congratulated them for successfully completing their training and performing an excellent parade. He also appreciated Sh Ashutosh Chouhan, 2IC (Trg) of STC and team of experienced instructors of STC BSF Baikunthpur for taking this grand parade to a new zenith.


       STC BSF Baikunthpur is the only training centre of Border Security Force in bordering state of West Bengal which has so far trained 33,422 Seema Praharis of Border Security Force and 2,573 personnel of other forces. Batch No.223 consists a total of 91 trainees (58 male and 33 female). They were recruited in Border Security Force through the sports quota and are national and international level players.


            After a rigorous training of 12 weeks, these Constables have reached at this stage. Senior officers of Border Security Force, officers of other institutions, parents & family members of the trainees also witnessed the grand parade.


Over the course of 12 weeks of training, the trainees gradually gained proficiency in handling different types of weapons, firing skills, border management, law, drills and other activities of the force. Apart from this, due to the hard work of the instructors of STC BSF Baikunthpur, their physical efficiency also increased. As a result of which all these newly trained constables are now physically, mentally and professionally prepared to serve the country during peace and war.


         Sh. Raman Kumar Srivastava, Commandant (Training & Chief Instructor) in his address remarked that the trainees of Batch No. 223, being recruited from the sports quota, already had a very good level of physical fitness and in short span of 12 weeks training they have achieved proficiency in all levels of training. He further congratulated all the trainees on successful completion of training and displaying an excellent parade and wished them luck to touch the highest level in the field of sports and bring laurels to the country and the Border Security Force. The parents and family members of the trainees present during the parade felt proud of the memorable parade, which they will cherish in their memories for the rest of their lives.
