North Bengal Frontier of Border Security Force organized ‘SWACHHATA PAKHWADA’ at BSF Campus Kadamtala and its surrounding areas under the dynamic leadership of Shri Ajai Singh, Inspector General of North Bengal Frontier. In this connection, a cleanliness drive was carried out by North Bengal Frontier BSF in Kadamtala campus, Durga Mandir area, NBMCH road and its surrounding areas. All the Officers, SOs and Jawans of North Bengal Frontier and 176 Bn BSF were participated in the cleanliness drive. During the program, banners and posters encouraging people to make their surrounding clean were displayed.
Senior BSF officers motivated to troops to keep their workplace, residential place, toilets, stairs, parking lots and pathways neat and clean. They urged everyone to take part in such cleanliness drives to make our surrounding areas beautiful. The main objective of this program was to spread awareness about cleanliness among the BSF troops.
Various programs were organized to create awareness about cleanliness among the masses. On 05 Dec 2022, as the part of ‘SWACHHATA PAKHWADA’, senior officers of BSF briefed troops about the importance of the cleanliness and harmful effects of plastic on our environment, plastic free campus and disposal of garbage. Banners with slogans of "SWACHH BHARAT ABHIYAN" and "SAY NO TO PLASTIC" were displayed during the program.
