Brave troops of Border Security Force are not only guarding India’s International borders but also creating a sense of security and providing humanitarian aids to border populace under the dynamic leadership of Sh Ajai Singh, Inspector General, BSF North Bengal Frontier, Kadamtala.
On 23 Jan 2023, through the sincere efforts of troops of Anti Human Trafficking Unit of Border Security Force deployed in the border area at Changrabandha of 98 Battalion of BSF under Jalpaiguri Sector in North Bengal Frontier of BSF on Indo-Bangladesh border of Coochbehar district of West Bengal rescued a minor girl R/o Vill-Buknabandha, PS-Mekhliganj, Distt-Coochbehar (West Bengal) from the general area of Barmanpara village under Mainaguri PS in Jalpaiguri district of West Bengal with the help of Mekhliganj PS.
She was missing since 04 Jan 2023 while attending college class and she was lured in love with one R/o Vill-160 Alokbari near Ranirhat, PS-Mekhliganj, Distt-Coochbehar (West Bengal) through social media. Further, rescued minor girl was safely handed over to her parents on 23 Jan 2023.
