West Bengal Transport Minister Firhad Hakim says "The time has come for Indian National Congress to merge with Trinamool to survive itself."
Giving an example, Hakim, Bengal's rulling TMC leader says while speaking in a by-poll campaign in Khardah today "when a sagging organization failed to pay it's employees merges with a profitable company. So the time has come for Congress to merge with Trinamool Congress. Because Trinamool Congress is now real Congress in the country. Otherwise Congress can not sustain it's existence in coming days. This party also annihilated someday like CPIM"
Khardah will face by-election on October 30 where Sovandeb Chatterjee from TMC will contest against his arch rivals BJP's Jay Saha.
All India Trinamool Congress President Abhishek Banerjee also urged the voters not to vote for Congress as it would be wasted. Abhishek Banerjee, the nephew of the State Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said while campaigning in Khardah On Saturday.
