Isar Motors, the parent company of Royal Enfield, is working on a plan to launch premium electric bikes in different markets according to the needs of the customers. Eiser Motors also wants to take advantage of the competition for electric vehicles. The company is currently selling models like Royal Enfield Classic, Bullet, Interceptor 650, Continental GT 750 and Meteor in the country.


Siddharth Lal, Managing Director of the company, said in the annual report for 2020-21, “The EV segment is growing rapidly all over the world. With this in mind, we are working strategically to develop future EV products.


Royal Enfield has increased the prices of all its bikes in the country from July 2021. Royal Enfield bikes have gone up in price from Rs 4,460 to Rs 8,405 after the price hike. Coming out of the effects of the Corona epidemic, the company sold 35,615 units of cars in the domestic market in June 2021. Exports in June 2021 have increased by an unprecedented 365 percent compared to June 2020.


Last year Royal Enfield entered new markets such as Japan, Cambodia, Costa Rica and the Dominican Republic.


Royal Enfield's new bike model MTR 350 is being sold in Europe, Thailand, Indonesia, Australia, Japan, North America and Europe. This bike is making a significant contribution to the company's global sales. The organization is rapidly expanding its presence in the Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) countries.
