Two people have been beaten mercilessly after caught them while stealing gold, silver form a house. The incidents took place in Ichapur area in Gaighata police station in North 24 Parganas district of West Bengal on Friday but the video went viral via social media the next day.
It has learnt that the duo went a house that Ichapur area in Gaighata and ask a house wife and her mother-in-law to offer a chemical powder which cleans the utensils, ornaments etc. At a time they took a golden chain from the family and started polishing.
After some times, they allegedly return the yellow colour components by wrapping a packet instead of the original gold chain and told them to open an hour. And the two accused persons left the place.
However a member of that family doubts in this and open the packet and saw some yellow colour powder is in it.
Later the said family informed the others and started searching for the duo. And lastly two accused were caught by the family members with the help of the locals people and they started beaten both of them. They were handed over to the police. Though they did not get their gold chain back.
But on Saturday that video went viral.
