STF West Bengal conducted two major operations during last 24 Hours and seized around 9.4 Kgs of heroin and arrested 3 persons. the details are as follows:
1. Arrested one person r/o lalgola , under Behrampore PS and seized 2.7 Kgs of heroin from his possession. The consignment was brought from Madhya Pradesh. A case had been started at Behrampore PS ( Murshidabad).
2. In another operation arrested two persons under Khoribari PS( Darjeeling District) along Nepal border and seized 6.73 Kgs of heroin from their common possession. The consignment was brought from Manipur and was transporting to Nepal. Arrested accused persons are from Manipur and Assam. A case has been started at Khoribari PS ( Darjeeling District)
The international market value of seized drug is approx. 45 crore.
