A Manchester woman's pet cat escaped from the third-floor window of their home six years ago and returned to her, the woman said.

Margaret Kudzma says that after her cat, named Mini Max, escaped through a house window, she also posted posters on the street, various online posts and newspaper advertisements to find the cat, but she was disappointed that no trace was found.

Six years later, last week, Kudzma learned from Wakefield veterinarian Dr. Samantha Simonelli that he had found some information about his lost cat.

Kudzma couldn't believe it at first and later found out that a family had seen a cat sick while feeding cats on the street and reported it to Dr. Samantha, a veterinarian. She told Kudzma as soon as she saw the cat.

"A real miracle happened," Kudzama said in a Facebook post.

Kudzama said he is thoroughly testing the Mini Max to make sure there are no long-term health problems after jumping out of the third-floor window.
