 South Korea's top carmaker Hyundai is preparing to launch the smallest SUV soon. According to reports, the company will launch the new car on September 15. This globally launched car has been named CASPER. It is codenamed AX1 in the international market. It is expected to be very low in price.


This car is designed for Hyundai K1 Compact. The company uses this platform in its popular hatchback cars Santro and Grand i10 Neos (Grand i10 Neos). It is learned that the company will first launch this car in South Korea. It will be landed for sale in another country. This car is expected to be successful as there is a demand for Hyundai cars in the country's market.


The Caspar will be smaller than the current subcompact SUV venue. Its size will be less than 4 meters. According to the report, it will have a height of 1,585 mm, a length of 3,595 mm and a width of 1,595 mm. In the international market, the Caspar will be sold with a 1.0-liter Smart Stream petrol engine that produces a maximum power of 8 PS and 95 Nm of peak torque. It is a natural ambitious engine that has been added to the 4-speed automatic transmission.


Caspar is expected to bring two petrol engine options to the country. It will have 1.1-liter and 1.2-liter engines. The 1.1-liter maximum power will produce 79 PS and 99 Nm of peak torque. The 1.2-liter engine produces a maximum power of 63 PS and 114 Nm of peak torque.

Both engines will be offered with 5-speed manual gearbox or 5-speed AMT.



  The price of this on-road car in the country's market will start from Rs 5.15 lakh to Rs 6.50 lakh.
