Electric scooter maker Bajaj Auto has again started accepting bookings for their electric scooters. The company has only started booking for this electric scooter in Pune and Bangalore and the Bajaj Chetak electric token can be booked for just Rs 2,000.

From July 22, Bajaj Auto started booking Chetak electric scooters in three more cities namely Mysore, Mangalore and Aurangabad. Bajaj Chetak Electric can be booked in these three cities with an advance of only three thousand rupees.

Bajaj Auto launched the Bajaj Chetak electric scooter in Nagpur last week. At the same time, Chetak was also launched in Chennai and Hyderabad in April this year. Bajaj claims that the company will start selling electric scooters in 22 new cities next year.

Bajaj Auto is selling its Chetak electric scooter in two variants, urban and premium. The entry-level urban variant is priced at Rs 1.42 lakh in Pune and the premium variant is priced at Rs 1.42 lakh (ex-showroom).

Speaking of specifications, Bajaj Chet has a 3 kWh IP-6 lithium-ion battery with a 3.6 kWh electric motor that is not removable. Bajaj Chetak's rival electric scooters, TVS i-Cube and Ather 450X also have no replacement battery.

This scooter gives 95 km range in eco mode when fully charged. Its top speed will be up to 60 km / h. It takes 5 hours to fully charge this electric scooter from a 5 MP power socket.

The company has given it an iconic retro design. It has features like LED derailleur and headlamps, digital instrument console, USB port, aloe wheel and disc brakes. The company has also added live tracking features.

This feature allows this electric scooter to be connected and even tracked via a smartphone app. The Bajaj Chetak electric scooter is being manufactured at the company's plant in Pune.
