On Thursday, Viacom18 Studios announced that 'Fighter' starring Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone will be India's first aerial action film. 'Fighter' will be a great film directed by Siddharth Anand. Hrithik Roshan has previously worked with Siddharth Anand in 'Bang Bang' and 'War'.
The film will be produced by Vicom 16 Studios in collaboration with Siddharth Anand and his wife Mamata, Raman Chibb and Anku Pandey. Ajit Andhare, Chief Operating Officer of the studio, said in a statement, “The aerial action film is a unique film experience. This type of test has not been done in India so far. Being a fan of the Hollywood movie 'Top Gun', I was looking for a story that has its roots in India and may have turned into an aerial action film over the last few years. That picture will be 'Fighter'.
Ajit Andhare said, “Siddhartha Anand has an idea about this kind of film and he distinguishes films with his unique management style. I have high expectations for the production of this film with him.
Describing 'Fighter' as his dream project, Siddharth Anand said, 'I am very happy that I am getting the support of a person like Ajit in making such a film. With this film, we aim to present Indian films to action-loving global audiences.
According to the filmmakers, the latest film method and technology will be used in the shooting of 'Fighter' keeping in mind the world viewers. The film will be shot in many countries around the world. "The story of the film is based on the Indian situation and salutes the heroism, sacrifice and patriotism of the country's armed forces," he said. The movie 'Fighter' will be released in 2022.
