Ingredients:
1/2 cup cheese
2 tablespoons flour
2 tablespoons corn flower
3 drops of keora water
Water as needed
1 cup ghee
1/2 cup cold milk
1/2 teaspoon salt
125 grams of sugar
Procedure:
Take a big bowl first. Add cheese, flour and corn flour. Mix well and then place the ingredients in the mixer. Make a smooth paste by adding cold milk. Now take it in a non stick pan and add ghee for deep frying. Take the bata and fry the malpua in hot oil till golden. Flip gently and cook in the same way. Fry the malpua as much as possible. Remove excess oil with absorbent paper. Meanwhile, boil water and sugar in a non-stick pan. Add keora essence and mix. Let it cook until the mixture turns into syrup. Once done, let it cool down a bit. Then put in the malpua syrup and let it soak for a few minutes. Then, filter the malpua and place it on a serving plate. Serve it immediately. You can also garnish with dried fruit and saffron thread.
