Just imagine if your friend asks you to watch an extremely scary video on a mobile phone, what will be your first reaction after watching the video?  Your body hair will stand up.  Or when you take a bath out of the swimming pool and suddenly a strong wind blows?  So what will happen - your body hair erects.  How does our body give the same reaction in 2 different incidents like this?  The main reason behind this is physiology and the emotions attached to it.

Goosebumps in English is a very common physical phenomenon that we inherited from our ancestors.  However, this amazing physical event was more beneficial to our ancestors than us.  Actually, when for some reason small skin gets raised in our skin due to which the hair and hair on the body is standing upright, then this phenomenon is called standing Goosebumps or hair.

Due to the contraction of small muscles attached to each hair on the skin, the hair erect.  Each shrink muscle creates a shallow hole on the surface of the skin from which the surrounding part emerges.  When a person feels cold, something feels the same.  The same thing happens in animals too.  Their  thick hair spreads when they stand and hide a small amount of air which acts as an insulation layer.  The thicker the layer of hair prevents heat .

But in humans, adrenaline hormone is released whenever it is cold or we are afraid or get emotional, and or are in a state of tension.
In humans, adrenaline releases tears, the palm begins to sweat, the heartbeat becomes faster, the hands tremble, the blood pressure rises and the stomach starts to get a little strange.  Not only in some kind of emotional situation, but also while watching a ghost horror film or video, the creeps stand up or even remember the old incidents in the past.
