After a huge uproar over the termination of the Question Hour in the upcoming session of Parliament, the government has said that it will allow "Unstarred Questions", which means that written answers will be received.  The turning point came after the government's claim that the question hour was stopped only after discussions with the leaders of the opposition.  At that time, no one raised objections except for Derek O'Brien of the Trinamool Congress.  Union Minister Prahlad Joshi has said this to NDTV.  He has said that TMC leader in Lok Sabha Sudip Bandopadhyay has agreed to this step.  The Parliamentary Affairs Minister told NDTV that "it is not good that after agreeing, leaders start publicly saying that they do not agree."
