Leaders of the BJP's West Bengal unit met Home Minister Amit Shah on Friday and demanded a CBI probe into the deaths of two party workers.

  In the same week, the body of one of these activists was found hanging in East Midnapore and the other in South 24 Parganas districts.

  Lok Sabha MP Soumitra Khan and Nishith Pramanik met Shah in New Delhi and killed 52-year-old Gautam Patra on Thursday in Ghora Mara area of ​​South 24 Parganas and Purnachandra Das (44) in Ramnagar area of ​​East Midnapore district on Wednesday. 

Urged the CBI to investigate the cases.  "The situation of law and order in West Bengal has completely collapsed," he said in a statement.  BJP workers are constantly being murdered and hanged from trees to show suicide. "In the last two days, the bodies of two of our party workers were found hanging from the tree," the statement said.  We have demanded a CBI inquiry into the deaths of both BJP workers.  We have requested Amit Shah for a CBI probe in both the cases. "

BJP has accused the Trinamool Congress in the death of its workers.  However, the ruling Trinamool Congress termed the allegations as baseless.
