Pollution levels in Delhi NCR have once reached alarming levels.  In the national capital Delhi, there was AAQI 340 which falls in the 'very poor' category.  At the same time, AQI 332 (very poor) in Gurugram too.  In Noida, however, the situation is more worrisome; AQI 371 has been recorded here and falls in the 'very poor' category.


AQI is 327 in Pusa, Delhi, Lodhi Road - 333, 354 in Delhi University, 386 on Mathura Road, 319 in Ayanagar, 322 in IIT Delhi, 350 in Dhirpur and 321 in Chandni Chowk.  The AQI at the airport has been 331.


 In Delhi, the cold can increase again on Monday.  The Meteorological Department has expressed the possibility that today the sky will be cloudy throughout the day as well as light rain may occur.  In Delhi, the minimum temperature was recorded at 8 degrees on Monday, while the maximum temperature is likely to go up to 22 degrees.  The Meteorological Department has also forecasted snowfall in Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand.

 The Meteorological Department has forecast rain in Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh and western Uttar Pradesh.  On the other hand, hail storm can also be seen in Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh.  Due to this, orange alert has been issued by the Meteorological Department in Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and Punjab.
