Three Indian-origin ministers, including Britain's Home Minister Preeti Patel, have retained their positions in the People's Cabinet, the cabinet of Prime Minister Boris Johnson.  The cabinet met on Tuesday before the first session of Parliament after the election.  The Conservative Party won a majority in the general election last week with a landslide victory.

 The newly elected MP and Minister returned to the House of Commons on Tuesday.  Johnson took some of the cabinet to maintain the status quo in his top team
 Only very limited reshuffling has been done to fill the vacant posts, which he called the People's Cabinet.  Three Indian-origin ministers, who have won back their seats, have been retained in their posts.

 Patel will once again take over as UK Home Minister.  MP Alok Sharma will continue to be the Minister for International Development.  Rishi Tsunak, son-in-law of Infosys co-founder Narayana Murthy, will continue as the Chief Secretary to the Treasury.
