The organization of Muslim majority countries has raised concerns over the revised citizenship law.  The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) said on Sunday that it was closely monitoring the latest developments affecting Muslims in India.  Along with this, the organization has expressed concern over the revised citizenship law and the Ayodhya verdict.  The Organization of Islamic Cooperation is an organization of Muslim-majority countries from 57 countries, including Pakistan.

This organization often favors Pakistan in case of any dispute between India and Pakistan.  The OIC issued a brief statement saying, 'The Organization of Islamic Cooperation Secretariat is closely monitoring the latest developments affecting Muslim minorities in India.'

The statement said that the body of Islamic countries has expressed concern over the recently amended citizenship law in India and the Ayodhya case.  The OIC has urged the Government of India to ensure the safety of Muslim minorities of the country and protect their religious places.
