Bahujan Samaj Party President Mayawati has instructed Uttar Pradesh President Munkad Ali to visit the homes of those killed in violence during the protest against the CAA and console them.  On Wednesday, Munkad Ali was first to go to the house of the slain youth in Sambhal district but the administration did not allow it.

The officers spoke to Munkad Ali after which he postponed his tour.  Former BSP minister Akeel ur Rehman Khan told that the state president will again visit Sambhal.  Munkad is scheduled to come to Meerut on Thursday.  It is believed that the administration, like Rahul-Priyanka Gandhi and Jayant Chaudhary, should hardly allow them to go to the victims' home.

On the other hand, BSP MPs Malook Nagar and Girishchandra, who reached Suleman's house in Nathore, Bijnor, who died of a bullet wound, were attacked by the family members.  He said that many days have passed since the incident and now he has remembered it.  The MPs told them that the administration did not allow them to come, when the family said that Priyanka Vadra had come from Delhi, no one stopped her.

Significantly, there was a furore over the Citizenship Amendment Act in Nahtaur on Friday, in which Suleman, resident of Mohalla Naudha of Nahtaur, and Anas, a resident of Mirdagan, were killed, while Omraj Saini, resident of Kasampur Lekhraj village, was injured.
