Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) is going to celebrate the birth centenary of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the founder of Bangladesh and popularly known as 'Bangabandhu', and on this occasion he will organize two T20 matches between Asia XI and World XI in March. It is being said that the ICC has given official status to this match. In this situation, given the current situation of India and Pakistan, it is believed that there will be no Pakistani player in this match.

Pakistani player will not be invited

BCCI joint secretary Jayesh George clarified in a conversation with IANS that a situation where India and Pakistan players play in the Asia XI will not arise here because no Pakistani player will be invited for this.

He said, 'We are aware that there will be no Pakistan player in Asia XI. This is the message and therefore, there is no question of the players of the two countries coming together or choosing each other. Sourav Ganguly will decide the five players who will be part of Asia XI.
