Mudai Iqbal Ansari expressed happiness over the Supreme Court's decision in the Ram Janmabhoomi-Babri Masjid case.  Ansari said that this is a victory of Muslims in a way.  Iqbal said that he is most happy that this issue has been resolved.  Ansari also clarified that he would not challenge the court's decision on his behalf.

 Ansari said, the court has ordered the government to give land for construction of mosque at some other place in Ayodhya.  This is a victory of Muslims in a way.  It is now the responsibility of the government to give land for a mosque somewhere in Ayodhya.  Explain that the Supreme Court has cleared the way for the construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya.  In the judgment, the Supreme Court directed the government to give five acres of land at a prominent place for the construction of a mosque in Ayodhya.


 On the other hand, Maulana Arshad Madani, the head of the country's leading Muslim organization Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind, said on the decision on the Ayodhya case, it is not as expected but we accept the decision.  This decision should not be viewed from a win-win perspective.  Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind fought for justice to the last extent, relying on the powers given to us by the constitution of the country.  We did what we could and we were hopeful that the decision would come in our favor.




 Dewan Jainual Abedin Ali Khan of Ajmer Dargah has welcomed the Supreme Court's verdict on the Ayodhya case.  He appealed to the people to maintain peace and harmony.  Dewan said, 'The judiciary is supreme and we all should respect its decision.  It is time to show unity in front of the world because the whole world is looking towards India today.  He said, 'We respect and accept the decision.  I appeal to the people of the country to maintain harmony and peace.  This is a victory for the judiciary.

 Sunni Waqf Board will not put a review petition
 UP Sunni Central Waqf Board Chairman Zufar Farooqui said that the board will not file any review petition on this decision.  He made it clear that if a person, lawyer or any organization says that the UP Sunni Central Waqf Board will file a review petition, it should not be considered correct.  Shortly after the verdict, Sunni Waqf Board counsel Zafaryab Gilani said that the court's decision in the Ayodhya case would be challenged.
