Dayadra Mandal, Kolkata:

After Pakistan fast bowler Mohammad Aamir, Wahab Riaz will also retire from Test cricket. According to the report of Pakistan newspaper World News, Wahab has talked to Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) about this. He can make a formal announcement in this regard after the withdrawal from the Canada T-20 league.

Riyaz, 34, has played 27 Test matches for Pakistan so far and has taken 83 wickets. His best performance is five for 63 runs. The left-handed fast bowler played against Australia in his last Test match in October 2012.

Aamir's decision was resented by former Pakistan players - Wasim Akram, Rameez Raja and Shoaib Akhtar, but team coach Mickey Arthur said that he knew about Aamir's decision.

Arthur told Cricinfo, 'It was fixed for a long time. Aamir had been talking to me about this for a long time. His test career was affecting his body.
