Former India batsman Sachin Tendulkar on Thursday said that Indian skipper Virat Kohli should give preference to Mohammed Shami in the match against West Indies in the ICC World Cup-2015 on Thursday against Bhuvneshwar Kumar.

Due to Bhuvneshwar's injury, Shami had taken a hat-trick on the field against the Afghanistan in the last match. "If I have to pick anybody from Bhubaneswar Kumar and Mohammed Shami for the next match against the West Indies, then I will definitely select Bhuvneshwar," Tendulkar said.

Master Blaster said, 'Bhubaneswar is fit if it is good for India. I looked at his body language which I thought was confident in him. ' Bhuvneshwar was injured in a match against Pakistan.

"The reason behind choosing Bhuvaneshwar is that he can bowl Chris Gayle to the outside, so that Gayle will be uncomfortable," said Tendulkar, referring to the reason behind Bhuvneshwar's selection. I still remember that in the last Test I played, how was Gayle uncomfortable in front of Bhuvneshwar?

Former batsman said, 'I know it will be a little unfortunate for Shami, but I think it should go with Bhuvneshwar for this match.'
