In the last few years, the trend of becoming a biopic has started in athletes in Bollywood. Runners from Milkha Singh to Boxer Mary Com and now badminton player Saina Nehwal is also going to become a biopic. Parineeti Chopra will be seen playing the character of Saina Nehwal in this movie. However Deepika Padukone for this role could also be a great choice. Deepika is very interested in badminton and she is also known for her athletic figure. His father Prakash Padukone is a senior player of badminton and his husband and actor Ranvir Singh is also working in the biopic of cricketer Kapil Dev.

Deepika, who played the role of acid attack survivor in the movie Chhapak, recently talked about the biopics . They were asked what kind of biopic they would like to see. On this, Deepika took the name of her father Prakash Padukone.

She smiled and said that I can understand the issue of gender, but if I get a chance to play the role of a sportsperson, I would like to work in biopic of my father or someone of that era. Because those people have demonstrated in the absence of uneven circumstances, lack of funds, in lesser features, they are extremely complacent. The players of my father's age inspire me quite a lot.

Talking about the workflow, Deepika recently signed Ranveer Singh's movie "83" In this movie, Real Life  couple Deepika and Ranveer Real Life also appear in the role of husband and wife. In this film, she will be seen playing Rumi Bhatia. In the same movie Chhapak, Deepika Vikrant Massey will appear in the upshot. These films will be released in January 2020. This movie has been directed by Meghna Gulzar. The film's shooting has been completed.
