The Narendra Modi government has appointed Samant Goyal, IPS officer of 1984 batch as Head of the Intelligence Agency Research and Analysis Wing (RAW). In addition, IPS officer Arvind Kumar has been made Director of Intelligence Bureau.

It is being told that Samant Goyal, IPS officer of the Punjab Cadre, had complete planning of Balakot Aerial Vehicle. Samant Goyal, the new Chief of Raw, will replace Anil Kumar Dhasmana, the current Chief, who is retiring after two and a half years of excellent service. When Punjab was in the grip of militancy in the 1990s, Samant Goyal did commendable work while campaigning against militancy.

Apart from this, Arvind Kumar, the new Director of Intelligence Bureau, is considered a specialist in Kashmir affairs. At present, Arvind Kumar, Special Secretary in Kashmir, is Kashmir. Like Samant Goyal, Arvind Kumar is also an IPS officer of the 1984 batch Assam-Meghalaya cadre.

The targets of Jaish were made by the Air Force.

Explain that after the terrorist attack on the convoy of CRPF in Pulwama, Jammu, Kashmir, the Indian Air Force had infiltrated Pakistan's Balakot by air strikes. More than 40 CRPF jawans were martyred in the Pulwama terror attack. Indian Air Force targeted the targets of militant outfit Jaish-e-Mohammed in Balakot. In this action of Indian Air Force, more than 250 militants were claimed to be killed. Due to these incidents, the tension between India and Pakistan is also very good.
