After 48 hours of Election Commission's bay, there is another new problem in front of Mayawati. The All India Reghar General Assembly has lodged a complaint against them in Delhi's Thirty Hajari Courts. It has been said in the complaint that Mayawati has compared her to God Shri Ram in the affidavit filed in the Supreme Court. Mayawati said that if the idol of Ram can be taken from government money then why not her?
Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) chief Mayawati had filed affidavit on April 2 in response to the Supreme Court's decision on spending money on statues. In his affidavit he had said that my idols represent the wishes of the people. Statues were constructed after allotment of budget after adequate discussion in the state assembly. Court can not question the decisions taken by the legislators regarding the budget.

Mayawati also said that sculptures reflect the wishes and mandates of the people. The legislators of the assembly wanted that statues should be set up to show the conflicts of Mayawati in the form of Kanshi Ram and Dalit women. Mayawati said in the affidavit that other political parties also make statues of politicians. It reflects the desire and support of those politicians.

Explain that the Supreme Court, while commenting on the petition, had said that BSP Supremo Mayawati should return the amount of public money she has spent in making elephants and elephant statues. Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi was hearing the case.

The Supreme Court, hearing the petition filed by Ravikant and others filed in 2009, had said that Mayawati should deposit all the money spent on idols in the official treasury.
During the hearing, Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi asked Mayawati's counsel to tell her client that the most of the money spent on those idols is deposited in the official treasury.

 During the Akhilesh government in Uttar Pradesh, a report was submitted to Lucknow Development Authority, which claimed that a total of Rs 5,919 crore had been spent on parks built in Lucknow, Noida and Greater Noida.
