Prior to Lok Sabha elections the Congress's unity efforts are constantly getting hit.

After the alliance with the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) crushed,  relations between Rastriya Janata Party in Bihar and Congress seem rough .

There is no consensus on the 40 seats of the state so far. The National Janata Dal (RJD) and other allies have asked the Congress to clear the situation till March 13, otherwise they 'can take a decision on their own level.'

Apart from the RJD, 40 seats in Congress, Mukesh Sahni, Upendra Kushwaha, Jeetan Manjhi, Sharad Yadav's party had also announced to contest the elections in the coalition. But the issue of sharing of seats was stuck between them.

Congress is demanding at least 12 seats, while RJD has said that Congress will give a maximum of 10 seats. Also, RJD says that Congress should tell the seats about how their candidates will be able to balance all the 40 seats.
