Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra will campaign for Lok Sabha elections in Chhattisgarh and Maharashtra too. The Congress has given the list of star campaigners to the Election Commission for campaigning in Chhattisgarh, along with Sonia Gandhi, Manmohan Singh and Rahul Gandhi, along with the name of party general secretary Priyanka Gandhi.

 According to sources, Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka agreed on the demand of Priyanka Gandhi for the promotion of the Pradesh Congress Committee.

A senior leader of the party's state unit told that Chhattisgarh's election campaign programs in Chhattisgarh will be decided soon. Priyanka was recently appointed general secretary and in-charge of Eastern Uttar Pradesh.

At present, she is busy campaigning for the party in Uttar Pradesh. List of star campaigners for Chhattisgarh includes the names of the Chief Minister of the state, Bhupesh Baghel, senior leaders Motilal Vora, Ghulam Nabi Azad, PL Poonia and many other leaders.

There are three phases of Lok Sabha elections to be held in Chhattisgarh on April 11, 18, 23. There are 11 seats in the Lok Sabha in the state. Priyanka has been active since the inception of the Eastern UP and is continuously making electoral tournaments. Recently, he had taken Varanasi's vote for Prayagraj for three days, in which he had met the workers and the common people.

 After this, Priyanka Gandhi is going on a journey to Ayodhya at the end of this month. Ayodhya is considered to be a center of UP politics, and there has been a long-standing political spell across the country for the construction of the Ram temple.

Priyanka Gandhi will join the party's star campaigners for the first and second phase elections in Maharashtra. According to Congress sources, Priyanka Gandhi's travel schedules and dates are being finalized. It is believed that he can address a public meeting in Mumbai. In the first phase, elections are to be held in seven constituencies on April 11 and in the second phase, elections will be held on 10th of April for 10 seats in Maharashtra.

Congress has nominated 40 star campaigners for campaigning in Maharashtra. Other veterans include Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, Manmohan Singh, Mallikarjun Kharge, Ghulam Nabi Azad, Jyotiraditya Scindia and Mohammed Azharuddin. Apart from this, other leaders of the Maharashtra Congress who are campaigning include Sushil Kumar Shinde, Ashok Chavan, Shivraj Patil, Mukul Wasnik, Milind Deora and Sanjay Nirupam.
