Indian Air Force on airlifted more than 180 passengers from Jammu to Srinagar on Sunday. Most of these travelers were students of the GATE exam (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering). Among the other passengers, maximum were children.
Defence spokesman said, "The Air Force C17 Globmaster has airlifted 538 people in the last two days. Of these, 319 were students who participated in the GATE examination. Air Force again transmitted 186 people, including 170 students, from Srinagar to Jammu. He quoted the students as saying that this was a memorable test of their life and would always be remembered."
The spokesman said, "Students were relieved very much as they were able to join the examination due to the humanitarian aid campaign launched by the armed forces." Among the seriously ill three women, 28 people trapped in Kishtwar are Pawan Goose The helicopter was aliased through various flights.
