New Delhi : The winter session of Parliament has been quite sweeping and full of accusations. On Monday, there is a possibility of a show-cause of noise, ruckus and protests in the House. Four Opposition parties and two supporting parties of BJP are opposing change in the citizenship bill (citizenship bill). In the opposition parties, the Congress, TMC, CPI (M), SP have also two BJP allies including the Assam Gana Parishad and Shivsena.
What is Citizenship Bill 2016 Prime Minister Narendra Modi had said in his rally only a few days ago that his government is working towards getting Parliament sanctioned to the proposed legislation. After this there was a situation of oppose in many places in Assam. Citizenship (Amendment) Bill, 2016 will amend the Citizenship Act 1955 and bring minority communities of Hindus, Sikhs, Buddhists, Jains, Parsis and Christian religions of Afghanistan, Pakistan and Bangladesh, to spend citizenship after spending six years in India.
