New rules on H-1B visas may pose a problem for IT industry

America's new rules on H-1B visas can pose a crisis for the electronic and information technology (IT) industry. On this visa, the US has not only cut the number this year, but also tightened the rules. Due to changes in immigration policy, five lakh Indians working on H-1B visas in the US are in fear about their future.

According to NASSCOM, the country's IT sector organization, new visa rules will not only hurt Indian employees but will also affect US IT companies. In Indian companies, 1.5 lakh people are currently employed outside the country and due to the decrease in the number of visas, these companies may face a lot of trouble.

NASSCOM expressing the opinion of giving a visa to the good employees of the companies, said that they are currently studying the visa rules.
