Britain police officer jailed for India origin shopkeeper death case

In December 2016, while Balwinder Singh was driving his vehicle in Wolverhampton, the Staff Officer of Staffordshire police officer Jason Bannister hit him in front.
Britain's Birmingham Crown court has sentenced a 18-month jail sentence to the police officer in connection with the death of a shopkeeper of Indian origin. The shopkeeper was killed when the official's car hit his van.
The 59-year-old Singh was taken to a hospital, but his life could not be saved. During the hearing in September, the court convicted the barnist for his negligence of death due to driving. Birmingham Crown Court on Friday sentenced Benister to 18 months in prison.
