India at second spot after US regarding data burglary






India is at the second spot after US in the first half of this year in data burglaries. This is said in a report by Digital Security company Gemalto. It has been said in the report that due to the 'agreement' with Aadhaar data in India, the figure of burglary has been high.

According to a report released by Gemalto on Monday, America is still the biggest victim of such attacks. In the total number of cases of burglaries globally, 57 percent of Americans have been victims. 72 percent of total record thefts have been stolen in the US. However, in the cases of burglary it decreased 17 percent compared to the previous half year.

Talking of burglary or record of theft, India has become a victim with 37 percent of such cases in the global level. According to the latest figures, 4.5 billion data has been stolen in 945 bribery cases globally. Out of these, cases of one billion data theft occurred in India. In the first half of 2018, one billion records were stolen in the cases of Aadhaar burglaries. These include names, addresses or other personal information.
